The SMART Table - an overview
The SMART Table is the first multitouch, multiuser interactive learning centre for Education use.
Designed to encourage collaboration, discussion & consensus building, the Table gives pupils a gathering place to
explore digital lessons, play educational activities & work together on interactive learning activities.
Groups of pupils can simultaneously touch objects on the surface & enjoy a playful kind of learning.
The possibilities for fun and teamwork are limitless on the Table - from sliding an elephant across the surface, following
a trail of clues, mapping the human body or the map of the world.
The Table's interface is so intuitive that pupils can get started
on activities quickly & easily.
KEY FACT: The SMART Table can register 80 simultaneous touches!
Or put another way 8 pupils can interact together all at the same time!
KEY FACT: Teachers can create their SMART Table activity lessons at
home using the SMART Table toolkit.
Mobile & Lockable
Supplied on castors to allow the device to be moved from classroom to classroom
or to a secure storage area easily.

that require pupils to work together on a problem and then come to a consensus before giving their answer.
